Medicinal uses: Liver tonic and rejuvenator par excellence, Very good for preventing as well as expelling kidney stones, For inflammation of spleen, For Typhoid, Antipyretic- For reducing fever , Fractures, Heals ulcers, Antibacterial, Conjunctivitis, Blepharitis, Heals Pylori infections, Diabetes, Fatty liver, Hepatitis infections, Skin infections, Anticancer properties.
Traditional Uses:
1. A tsp of plant paste is taken 2-3 times a day along with sour cultured rice water or buttermilk for treating Jaundice and other liver disorders.
2. A decoction of the plant along with the leaves of Parijata can be used for treating Fever.
3. 1 tsp juice of the plant can be taken for fatty liver, weak digestion, vomiting etc.
4. Paste of the plant mixed with turmeric is used for Psoriasis and Eczema.
