If you have a very busy lifestyle and you are exhausted at the end of the day, ask yourself if you were Busy Sitting!
Most of us who are busy are either

2. Attending Meetings- Yet again sitting
3. Working at Office - Most of the work is done while you are sitting
4. Come back late at home and need some rest- Sitting on a couch watching TV

Keeping yourself busy is good. It is supposed to keep the body fit, the mind engaged and help optimize your productivity. However in this modern Busy-ness driven world, busy is synonymous with sitting for long hours. And if you are very very busy then you are sitting for long hours in different locations.
I will keep this post short. The reason as to why I wanted to write on this topic is because there are quite a few Prehealing Participants who are perpetually busy yet do not get enough exercise. Some are so busy that they have been neglecting their dis-eases in order to attend to business.
If you find yourself to be of the very busy sitters, here is what you can do
Maintain a strict eating regimen. Do not eat just to give company to others. Our digestive system is not a dustbin and the worst thing you can do is to keep loading junk in your system the effects of which will manifest as sickness thereby impacting your business. If you do have to eat, eat light and chose fresh juices instead of bottled beverages or sugary drinks.
Walk as and when possible. If you were to reach the airport early, do not sit in the lounge. Take a walk. If you are on a call, do not sit at your desk and talk, instead take a walk as you talk. On an average you can clock 600-1000 steps for every 10 minutes that you spend on the phone. I have to talk with many participants during the day, I do this while I am walking or while I am pacing up and down in my room. Telephonic conversations help me clock around 15000-20000 steps in a day!
And when you come home late at night: Avoid crashing on the couch in front of the Television set. White Light at Night can play havoc with your biological clock and TV at night would deprive you of precious family bonding time.
Meditate before you go to sleep. It will help you prioritize as well as optimize your lifestyle
Wake up early and start your day with 10-15 minutes of Pranayama and light yoga.
Make it a point to take 1/4th to ½ tsp of Triphala powder in a glass of water at least 2-3 times a week
You should see a marked improvement in your health even if you were to follow these most basic lifestyle changes. Remember, what you earn is of no use if you do not have the wealth that matters the most- HEALTH.
